What exactly is cannabigerol (CBG)?
CBG is one of the most fascinating cannabinoids out there. The substance occurs naturally in cannabis and hemp plants and fulfills a stem cell function. This means that the CBG that the plant produces is converted into other cannabinoids over the course of its plant life, such as CBD, CBN, CBC and THC. This means that an extra high content is present in the plant when harvesting, which is then extracted using cold CO2 extraction, together with the other cannabinoids present. By diluting this extract with a nice hemp seed oil, a purely natural cannabinoid oil is created that is extra rich in cannabigerol.
